N.J. Ashton Pty Ltd is 100% Australian Family owned and operated.

Established in 1983 in a small country town in NSW, Crookwell, providing tree lopping services into Canberra and up and around the Southern Highlands, carrying out works for State and Local Governments, and providing services to the local communities.

NJ Ashton has built long standing relationships with our long-term clients, supporting our existing clients and to grow with new.

We have expanded our footprint in NSW with our head office in Marulan, and offices in Sydney (Eastern Creek), Newcastle (Tomago), the Central Coast (Peats Ridge) and Wollongong. We also have a recycling facility in ACT (Mitchell) that gives us the opportunity to receive materials and export recycled products.

INDIGENOUS PARTNERSHIP

N.J. Ashton is proud to work extensively within the indigenous communities.

We have developed an Indigenous Partnership strategy that identifies ways to create support and foster networks with indigenous communities, businesses, councils, and traditional owners.

Through this strategy we have partnered with NRL sporting legend Mr Josh Addo Carr, as our Indigenous Partnership Ambassador.
NJ Ashton strives to improve the participation and engagement of these indigenous communities in our service networks.

We also have a local industry strategy and an Indigenous employment training program for all our local communities to locate, train, upskill and employ from our indigenous communities, we have over 12% of our work force currently working in the Ashton Group who came through our program.

COMMUNITIES

At N.J. Ashton, we ensure that giving back to those communities is part of our overall plan, helping the next generation or the grass roots of sporting teams creates hope and commitment.

We stand very proud of community work and giving back to those in need. The Country Women’s Association (CWA) is a non-for-profit organisation supporting women and their children for 100 years, and we are proud to be associated with CWA.

St John of God Rehabilitation services in Goulburn, is a mental health centre focused on rehabilitation and sense of wellbeing, and N.J. Ashton are proud to lend a hand for voluntary work in raising funds.

We will always try and support the local sporting teams, the Marulan Cricket Club is a great family orientated club that we proudly sponsor to ensure they have all the right equipment to learn and grow.

We delivered a truck load of toys to the Goulburn Base Hospital for the less fortunate kids, who were there for long periods of time and didn’t experience things that many kids may have.
